AIDN SEEKING CASE STUDIES ON SECURITY INCIDENTS

 

AIDN has been requested to provide Case Studies (good and bad) on any security incidents they have experienced - particularly insider incidents (e.g. committed by an employee/former employee) and cyber incidents, including how the incident was resolved and any lessons learnt by you.

 

If you would like to contribute, please email administration@aidn.org.au with a summary of the incident, resolution and lesson by 1pm 10 March 2020.

 

AIDN is able to submit this anonymously if you wish – please advise in your response if you wish your organisation/name to be anonymous.

 

 

AIRBUS DEFENCE AND SPEACE NSW INDUSTRY ROADSHOW

 

The NSW Government invites you to register your attendance for the Airbus Defence and Space NSW Industry Roadshow to hear about how your business can support future defence, space and communication programs in Australia.

 

The event is open to industry, academia and start-ups and will provide Airbus with insight into local capabilities in New South Wales that can be introduced into their global supply chain.

CONGRACT RISK MODULE 5: ASDEFCON LIABILITY

We are currently seeking industry nominations to attend the pilots for the new Contract Risk Module 5: ASDEFCON Liability course. The pilot courses will be held in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne as follows:

 

  • Canberra - 31 March–2 April 2020;
  • Sydney - 14–16 April 2020; and
  • Melbourne - 28-30 April 2020.

 

The course will cover the ASDEFCON Liability framework and its key underlying concepts, the Defence Liability Risk Assessment template, and related exercises.

Numbers on the pilots are limited. We are seeking a mix of industry and Defence attendees with some experience in liability and insurance, to foster useful feedback on the course. It is intended that industry will also be able to attend the course when it is offered as part of the standard suite of procurement and contracting professionalisation courses.

The Women In Defence Awards program celebrates talented, determined, successful women who make a positive impact in the defence business arena, as members of Defence industry, Australian Public Service (APS) or in uniform.

Submissions can be self nominated or entered by a third part. Eligible achievements to have taken place in the 2019 calendar year.
